ColorLok and recycling

A recent M-real study shows that ColorLok paper has a positive effect on the recyclability of inkjet printed papers.

The recycled pulp from inkjet printed ColorLok papers is brighter than pulp produced from non-ColorLok papers. This means that the pulp produced is more suitable for the production of high quality, recycled white office papers.

The study also found that there was no impact on the recyclability of ColorLok papers printed using laser technology. These papers delivered the same aesthetic characteristics as non-ColorLok papers.
